In January, I mentioned a new litter of puppies. This is the first litter of Lancashire Heelers to be born in the United States since the American Kennel Club (AKC) granted full recognition to my favorite breed.
This month, I want to draw your attention to the accomplishments of those from the earlier Prestige litters. Today, I will focus predominantly on their AKC accomplishments. I will also mention some titles they’ve brought home from other organizations. For example: IABCA, NASDA and UKC.
Prestige is very proud of all our puppy families. We keep in touch with all the families and are thrilled with and somewhat in awe of their sundry achievements. [Do you need help decoding the titles? Check the AKC website for a list of titles sorted alphabetically.]

Barn Hunt queen
Some recent highlights are Prestige Hoxie of Kimmark being number one for the breed in Barn Hunt. Prestige Witchy Woman is the mother of the first litter since gaining full AKC recognition in January 2024. She is also the first Canine Ambassador for the breed. Her littermate, Prestige Berkeley Rufford, became the second and only other Lancashire Heeler who is Canine Ambassador. Meanwhile, Prestige Thakurji of Kimmark represented the Lancashire Heelers at the 2023 AKC Agility invitational. His brother, Prestige Teddy Bear of Kimtim, also represented the breed at this event.

NASDA rosettes
Other highlights include how UKC GCH AKC CH Prestige Ragin’ Cajun became the first of the breed to gain Grand Champion status. He also gained a Precision Coursing (DASH) title in the United Kennel Club. Meanwhile, his littermate, Prestige Songbird of Aberdeen, holds an international championship bestowed on her by the International All Breed Canine Association. A brother from that same litter, Prestige Berkely Rufford, is the first Lancashire Heeler to compete in the North American Sport Dog Association (NASDA). He is still the only one to do so. He holds four titles so far.
And of course we are just as proud and happy about all the wonderful homes that have a Prestige puppy as a member of their family: “Gemma” Prestige Gemma Jumping Bean, “Hetty” Prestige Hetty Green at Kcees (who also works as one of the Goose Busters), “Echo” Prestige Magic, “Sherlock” Prestige Mister Sherlock, “Piper” Prestige Patrick’s Piper, “Rémy” Prestige Remy De Prorok. We know that these dogs contribute so much to their families.
Thank you, everyone, for opening your hearts and your homes to a puppy from Prestige Lancashire Heelers.
Amazing accomplishments and congratulations to those of you that worked so hard to obtain those titles.
Would love to see some herding titles on this wonderful breed.

As soon as I can find some trials near me I’ll work on that. 😁

You would have so much fun competing in ASCA herding trials. You would just have to register your dogs with ASCA.
I’m still considering your breeding program for my herding prospect.
